Yesterday construction began on the new plant for Dell, the American producer of notebook computers and new generation servers. The investment is worth about EUR 200 million.

The new plant is going to be one of the most technologically advanced Dell facilities in the world. In the first year about 1,000 people will find jobs with Dell, and in subsequent years employment should reach 3,000. Together with suppliers and other entities cooperating with the plant, the total number of new jobs created should be about 12,000. Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2007.
