In the near future the authorities of Slubice are planning to gain new foreign investors. The workforce of 6.000 are ready to begin work.
As a result of the cooperation between the Kostrzyn–Słubice Special Economic Zone and the local authorities of Słubice a new map of the potential territories for investments has emerged. We have a new investment offer – said the Mayor of Słubice Ryszard Bodziarski.
There are six new sites. Three of them are particularly attractive. – Two are the size of 50 ha and one the size of 200 ha they belong to the Agricultural Propriety Agency and we expect that those sites will fully satisfy investors – he added.
The Kostrzyn–Słubice Special Economic Zone has supported and serviced Polish and foreign investors since 1997. The Zone provides investors with lands and with the entire infrastructure, and also a package of tax incentives. At the present moment there are 100 companies operating in the K-S SEZ. From January 2007 decision of the Council of Ministers enlarged the area of the K-S SEZ by 92,1208 ha and today the total area of the K-S SEZ is 899,0141 ha.
Entrepreneurs who start business activity in the Kostrzyn-Słubice Special Economic Zone are entitled to regional support and to receive tax exemptions from one of the two following categories: investment costs or the creation of new jobs.
